History
Johanna O'Boyle established Ursa Minor in May of 2021 after working as a production arborist for five years at area companies. She functioned as the sole owner and operator until Jake joined the company a year later, taking on the role of Sustainability Coordinator and allowing Ursa Minor to offer landscape design, installations, and maintenance services.
In 2024, Jake and Johanna decided that they enjoyed solving complex problems under pressure together so much that they should probably just get married so they could do it all the time. Jake became co-owner of the company in 2025.
